She’s is poised with a classic way about her…

…and she is about to enter her senior year of high school.
(yeah, I know. I’m floored too.)

It was a pleasure having this time with Emma, and I’m thrilled with how the images came through to pat us both on the back. We shot in Tempe, Arizona around the ASU campus and walked through the streets surrounding. She didn’t require much direction from me at all, rather, she confidently stood in front of my camera and just let herself be captured exactly as she is. It’s this kind of refreshing “posing” that allows me to just feel my camera in my hands and move as fluidly as I need to around her. I’m sure people watching us thought I was possessed with all of my “yes, PERFECT, yep, uh huh, STAY THERE, move a little, wait, STOP, go back, there it is, NAILED IT”.

I look forward to any chance I get to work with her in the future. Until then, I’ll just check back on this post frequently to get that visual fix.
